Biography
Meet Westblaak, a talented 21-year-old DJ and producer hailing from the vibrant city of Rotterdam. From a young age, he was drawn to the pulsing rhythms and infectious beats of house music, and it wasn’t long before he discovered his passion for producing.
Over the years, Westblaak has honed his craft and is now a seasoned DJ who knows how to get the crowd moving. His unique sound is a combination of funky and trippy house, inspired by legends such as Todd Terry, Chris Stussy, and Locklead. With his heavy and hard-hitting tracks, Westblaak has quickly made a name for himself in the underground scene.
In 2021, Westblaak won the Toffler Talent pool, solidifying his status as one of Rotterdam’s rising stars. He has also had the opportunity to perform at some of the city’s most iconic venues, including the Now&Wow club and the Euromast.
Always striving to improve his skills, Westblaak is currently enrolled in a one-year producing academy in Amsterdam. Here, he is learning everything from mixing to mastering at the highest level, ensuring that his tracks are of the highest quality.
